Updates

You have Bookkeeper version {{ st.current }}.

{% if pending %}

Version {{ pending.version }} is ready to install

Your books were backed up. {% if can_restart %}Click the button to finish — Bookkeeper restarts, and you'll sign in again. {% else %}Close Bookkeeper and start it again to finish installing it.{% endif %}

{% if can_restart %}
{% endif %}
{% elif st.available %}

Version {{ st.latest.version }} is available

{% if st.latest.released %}

Released {{ st.latest.released|usdate }}

{% endif %} {% if st.latest.notes %}

What's new:

{% endif %} {% if st.can_install %}

{{ st.can_install }}

{% elif not st.python_ok %}

This version needs a newer Python (version {{ st.latest.requires_python }} or later). Run the Bookkeeper installer from updates.decaro.net again — it updates both.

{% else %}

Installing takes a minute or two. First Bookkeeper saves and locks every set of books and keeps a copy of each (still encrypted) in the backups folder. Then it restarts and you sign in again. Your books, passwords and settings stay as they are.

{% endif %} {% else %}

{% if st.error %}Couldn't check for updates{% else %}You have the latest version{% endif %}

Last checked: {{ st.checked or 'never' }}

How updates work

{% if st.previous and not pending %}
Something wrong after an update?

You can go back to the version you had before ({{ st.previous }}). Your books are backed up first and stay as they are.
