Year-end lender statements (Form 1098)

If you categorize whole mortgage payments as Mortgage Principal & Escrow, enter the numbers from each lender's Form 1098 / annual escrow statement here. Bookkeeper adds one $0.00 adjustment on Dec 31 that moves those amounts to the deductible lines — bank balances and reconciliations aren't affected. Saving again replaces the previous adjustment.

{% for c in rep.columns if c.id %}{% set lv = lender[c.id] %}

Interest recorded from your transactions: {{ lv.recorded_interest|money }}

{% endif %} {% if rep.unassigned %}
Some rental income or expenses aren't assigned to a property (the “Not assigned” column). Assign them →
{% endif %}

Line 2 (fair rental / personal use days) isn't tracked here — enter it in your tax software. Mortgage interest should match each lender's Form 1098.
